About the event
On Sunday, April 26th, NNPS and Trash Panda Permaculture will be leading the iNaturalist City Nature Challenge. The goal of this event is to make observations of wild plants and animals 24-27 April, and take part in the largest community science biodiversity census in the world while helping us better understand – and therefore, take care of – nature that lives in and around urban areas.
We'll begin by first exploring the cultivated native and non-native permaculture garden at the park before venturing off along the nearby trails in search of some wild-grown wildflowers! For this walk please make sure you have the free app iNaturalist downloaded on your phone so that you may participate in the observations!
